Many a mongoloid was seen at the DEVO show at McCarren Pool in the burg last night. Good times. It was great that The MuseBox was brought on to help promote it! Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Our friends “The Two Koreas” are nominated for the Best Verge Artist!! As always, we encourage music lovers everywhere to go and check out great music like theirs “Session EP”. If for some reason you never heard it, don't you think it's time to put on your headphones and crank it up! Listen to their tracks!
VOTE FOR THE TWO KOREAS
Last week, a bunch of us MuseBoxers crowded into the lovely studios of The Colbert Report to watch our very own The Apples in stereo perform for the second time on the show. Needless to say, it was a blast and the band totally killed it. Not only did they blow away the studio audience (and the country) with the tune “Can You Feel It?”, they took an encore to perform the Colbert-inspired song “Stephen, Stephen” with none other than Colbert himself picking up the tambourine and joining in on the action. It was a pretty proud moment for all of us here at The MuseBox, and we can’t wait for the band’s next appearance. To check out The Apples in stereo performing “Can You Feel It?”, look no further than here:
For all of our West Coaster friends, as previously mentioned, The Paper Cranes will be opening for The Walkmen on August 29th at Sugar Nightclub, as part of the Rifflandia Music Fest!
Wristbands for the festival are going for $58.00, but with all of the stellar bands performing, seems like a pretty sound investment.
The Paper Cranes hit the stage at 9:30, don’t miss out!
