Playboy Features Hipster-Hop Duo Das Racist


The colorful twosome that makes up Das Racist has received some well deserved acclaim from Playboy Magazine of all places. The Brooklyn based hip hop duo are best known for the so catchy it’s contagious stoner jam, “Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell”. The Tender Box Tops Specialty Radio Chart


The “You Hear it First” shows of top Alternative radio stations including KROQ/LA and Live 105/SF have been pulsing with the brilliance of The Tender Box, whose vibrant British rock-influenced sound has sent them soaring to #1 on the Specialty Radio Chart. Their new EP entitled “EP 1″ which will be released in late May achieves a grand, lush melodic and lyrical spectrum on some tracks while sticking to its dark and danceable British tone in others. The Tender Box is scheduled to perform at “KROQ Locals Only Presents” @ The Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, CA on May 21st and twice in Las Vegas on June 27th at the Glam Squad Shop and the Beauty Bar. Spinner Features Scissor Sisters' Guitarist Del Marquis


Del Marquis is best known as the guitarist of Scissor Sisters, but he is now launching a solo career and Spinner is taking note. Marquis discusses his new electro/pop/remix madness, and how artist need to be ever-evolving as the music industry is in a constant state of change.

Marquis has been releasing his music as a series of EPs, including the third installment, “Litter to Society,” due out this month.
