Dear Londoners -
prepare to meet your new favorite band...
LA Weekly calls Juliette Commagere's latest "A vividly orchestrated pop-art project veering from the wistful and elegiac to the epic and otherwordly."
And we agree.
Australia's Rudely Interrupted graced us with their unforgettable presence last week with three performances here in New York City. Fox News's Red Eye sat down with the band at their UN performance on 12/3 to get the inside scoop. Vice Magazine caught up with them later in the week (12/6) at their Fontana's show to get the low down. If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and check out Rudely Interrupted, direct from Down Under to your ears by way of The Musebox.
It's a big week in Rudely Interrupted land...
Check out The Real Tuesday Weld's 'Last Words', named Video of the Day this week by Spinner.com here!
The Real Tuesday Weld - 'Last Words'
Anyone who couldn’t get in to see Australia’s Rudely Interrupted from 1 to 2 pm on December 3rd need not despair: the UN’s very first indie-band performance will be playing a show that night. At Public Assembly (70 N. 6th Street) in Brooklyn with Looker, Peachcake and DJ Nora & Sam FTW, the show starts at 9, is open to the public and sans metal detector wands. ($5 cover).
RUDELY INTERRUPTED BKLYN
Chanteuse Jill Barber sings her fully orchestrated songs that could be easily mistaken for standards to an audience at LES venue, The Living Room.
The Obama-Biden campaign uses 'Kiss Me' by our friends, Uncut, for a little added push.
Post-punk legends Echo & The Bunnymen are profiled in the new issue of Spin Magazine with an epic 7-page feature & an oral history that celebrates the band's incredible and influential 30-year career.
The Homosexuals invaded the Cake Shop on Saturday night and turned their musical guns to the heads of a crowd with no option but to surrender to the Wizard power.
