Matterhorn

The Clips are Edo Van Breemen (vocals, lead keys), Jeremy Gruman (drums, violin), Michael Jones (guitars), Andrew Seeton (bass) and James Steidle (synths, digital effects), and their new brand of electro-pop-rock brilliance has already garnered them critical acclaim in radio-, web-, and print-based media, spawning opening slot performances for Holy Fuck and Metric, as well as appearances at Calgary’s Sled Island Festival and a CBC-sponsored West Coast tour. All this prior to an official wide release or distribution deal. Now that the band has teamed with independent label Unfamiliar Records (Two Koreas, Paper Cranes, Snailhouse, Brasstronaut) and reputable distributor Sonic Unyon, they’re poised to take things to the next level and beyond in the second half of 2008. Look for The Clips’ Matterhorn available for sale digitally July 22nd and in stores August 8th.
