The High Dials have toured North America and the UK with both the Brian Jonestown Massacre and Neko Case. They have released two albums and 2 EPs on Rainbow Quartz Records. Their debut, "A New Devotion" (2003), was an out-and-out concept record of a kind not seen since the 70s: a 17-song suite with 12-string guitars, synths, 3-part harmonies, and a science-fiction tale of paranoia at its dark heart. Part Flaming Lips, part SF Sorrow, part Logan's Run, and a whole lot of Revolver-era Beatles. It made a fan of Little Steven of the E Street Band, who featured it regularly on his syndicated radio show the Underground Garage.

"War of the Wakening Phantoms" (2005) was the High Dials' follow-up, a breezy album full of romance, magic and melancholy. It made the year-end top-ten list of many critics, including the Washington Post and Magnet Magazine, and won high praise in the UK press. NME called it a "psych pop masterpiece," and the Sun and Independent on Sunday gave it high marks. The album went to number one on Canadian college radio charts.

In 2006, The High Dials went through some line-up changes, with a new drummer and bassist joining the fold.
In 2007, "The Holy Ground" was featured in a national TV ad for Rogers Wireless. The band also released an EP of outtakes, one of which features a collaboration with Rod Argent of 60s legends The Zombies!

The band are currently recording a new album called "Moon Country" with producer Joseph Donovan.
