The Hush Now

Green Shoelace, SCION & The MuseBox bring you a party that can't be missed!

Hey, party people! Come join us tomorrow April 14th at Santos Party House for a night of free and amazing fun. What better way to spend your Wednesday night (and ruin your Thursday morning) than with the sounds of Bottle Up & Go, The Hush Now, Streetlab, and a DJ set by Das Racist?

RSVP here!

STREETLAB:

"Maybe the Streetlab guys go to parties I don't go to, parties where serpentine bass quashes and jagged electro -house stutter have commandeered the sound of the city that never sleeps, killing classic disco with one blast of a supersonic laser gun." -Rcrd_Lbl

DAS RACIST:

"Das Racist are a Brooklyn/San Francisco “zip hop” duo who rap about stuff like fast food restaurants and Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez over hyphy beats that sound like they were cooked up in about three minutes on a thrift-store Casio. Which is to say: They’re pretty amazing." - MTV Newsroom

THE HUSH NOW:

"Is it festive? Yes, deliciously so. They filter the influence of Phil Spector, Bing Crosby, etc, through a charming haze of psychedelic guitar pop." UK Telegraph

BOTTLE UP AND GO:

"Bottle Up And Go" is born and bred to go with Jack Daniels from the bottle (and a gun shoved down one's sock.) It's the most enticing mix of blues mixed with garage band punk we've heard in a while." – RCRD LBL

Bio :: The Hush Now

Bing Crosby? Nat King Cole? Not quite the influences expected for an indie-pop quintet out of Boston, MA. But these are the ghosts of Christmas past The Hush Now leaned on when they recorded “Wishing You A Happy Christmas.”

The Hush Now deliver a new Christmas classic with the swing of Jobim with soaring guitars releasing into a sing-along chorus of Fa La La’s.

Anticipating the release of their second single, Contrails, The Hush Now are now preparing for an upcoming tour of the UK in late February to support the release of their second studio effort, Constellations.
