X-Factor Marketing: Hunter Valentine

Working with our partner Tommy Boy Records, we developed the “Tour de NYC” program for the first US release of Brooklyn-via-Toronto punk-pop trioHUNTER VALENTINE.   The album release date stunt involved the band doing 12 shows in 12 hours across the city – including a kickoff performance on the WPIX-TV Morning show, stops at Sirius XM Radio, KCDC Skate Shop, Clear Channel’s I Heart Radio studios, the Village Voice, East Village Radio, and a full album release show at the Cake Shop on the Lower East Side.  To add further hype to the event, we promoted a guitar giveaway with Gibson Guitars and ran a custom twitter #tourdenyc hashtag program ultimately driving over 55,000 audio/video streams and over 300,000 total impressions.
