When you only have a few weeks out of the year to holiday there is often the temptation to turn these weeks into something memorable. Watching celebrities holiday at stunning locations can sometimes bring out the green eyed monster in us all, however it would appear holidaying like a celeb is remarkably achievable as this infographic created by Schofields shows us.
Necker Island
It’s not the cheapest option but for those looking for a remarkable holiday you could stay at Sir Richard Branson’s private island, Necker Island, for £9,928 per person per week.
You can hire the private island either as an exclusive booking, or individual rooms can be booked with guests coming together for meals. The island spans a staggering 74 acres and contains numerous pools, water sports and even has a bunk room tailored to appeal to children. For an additional fee babysitting services can be provided and child friendly activities such as treasure hunts and beach Olympics can be arranged.
Meadowgate
At the other end of the spectrum you have home improvement star Kirstie Allsopp’s Devon mansion, made famous in the TV show “Kirstie’s Homemade Home” where prices start from as little as £248 per person per week.
The mansion has a games room, open fire and sleeps up to 14 guests perfect for a family staycation.
Las Palmas
If you fancy jetting abroad, then the former home of iconic academy awarding winning actress Elizabeth Taylor is available for £372 per person per week.
Set in the upmarket Las Palmas neighbourhood, Palm Springs. The villa sleeps up to 8 people, and contains an outdoor pool, a spa and some of the actress’s former possessions, including incredible artwork can still be seen in the villa.
La Quinta
The home of American television host, singer, actor and media mogul Merv Griffin costs as £1,375 per person per week. The 39-acre estate, situated in the heart of the Coachella Valley, is walled and gated allowing renter’s total privacy.
The main house covers 7,000 square foot main house with guest bungalows and the properties own lake. With the main house and the additional accommodation provided from the external bungalows this holiday home will sleep over 16 people and, unlike the other holiday homes mentioned above, pets are welcome.
So what do you think? Would you like to holiday like a celeb?
